THE LOUISIANA MARATHON EXPO AND PACKET PICKUP
BIENVENUE AU MARATHON DE LOUISIANE DANS LA VILLE BATON ROUGE
Welcome to Rendezvous8. The Louisiana Marathon Expo is the official start to the Louisiana Marathon running festival and the exclusive Packet Pickup and Late Registration area for all runners of the race weekend. This year, we anticipate thousands of runners and attendees at the event.
A Little Lagniappe At The Louisiana Marathon Expo
Last year we closed down the Expo with with a second line by The Mike Foster Project. That was such fun, we’re bringing it back and moving it to Friday. Starting at 4:40 pm The Raising Cane’s River Center will open a bar for guests. At 5pm The Michael Foster Project will do a second line around the Expo encouraging all to participate. Following the second line, The Mike Foster Project will a perform a few songs. At 5:30 we will be hosting the “Meanwhile at Café Du Monde” show, the unique, festive monologue created by Peggy Sweeney-McDonald, that focuses on food and how our lives revolve around the satisfaction of it. The show features guest speakers who will share their life stories about food and how its entwined in their lives and memorable moments.
INFO & GREAT DEALS AT THE EXPO
Learn more about the world of running, health & fitness and the products & services from key partners and sponsors of The Louisiana Marathon. We will also have our charity partners present to address any questions about their causes. We invite you to participate in their outreach efforts. The best thing about the expo is that it is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
