Geaux Run Louisiana

Here, in this little corner of the American South, European traditions blend with Caribbean influences to create a history is as colorful as the local architecture, and food that is the stuff of legend. Haitian and African Creoles developed an exotic, spicy cuisine and were instrumental in creating Jazz and Zydeco.

Throughout your run, locals cheer you on and wish you the best. They offer you warm king cake, serenade you with great music ranging from Elvis to Big Sam Funky Nation, and give you ample opportunity to sip a beer – or Bloody Mary – if you’re feeling bold.
