Join the Geaux the Distance Charity Program for the 2025 Louisiana Marathon.

Geaux the Distance is the official charity program of the Louisiana Marathon, aimed at raising funds to support local charities across Louisiana and the Capital Region. We had a great inaugural year, helping Girls on the Run of South Louisiana raise almost $10,000.

Our goal is to have 10 Charity Partners to raise $100,000 annually, and we need your help to make it happen!

As an Official Charity Partner, you'll have the chance to recruit a team of runners/walkers who commit to raising a minimums for your charity by race day ($250 for Saturday races, $400 for Sunday races).

All of the money raised through the Geaux the Distance charity program will be donated directly to our selected charity partners, ensuring that your fundraising efforts go directly to supporting those in need.
